Getting to Know Me
My name is Sharon Weatherly, I live in Carrollton Texas where I grew up and started school. In 1960 I met the man of my dreams, Howard Weatherly, we were married one year later in 1961. I was 16 and Howard was 22.
We had a beautiful wedding at the Church of Christ on College Ave in Carrollton. My husband and I just celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary. It was a fantastic celebration with 53 + friends and the two Bridesmaids, Brenda and Patty, and the Best Man, Ikey, were there to congratulate us on this monumental achievement. Our daughter, Kathy, and our friends gave us this Party which we will never forget! The party represented memories of a lifetime. It was at the Plaza Theatre in Carrollton , Texas which we both went to see movies there from age 6 or 7 in about (1950) It was 7 cents to go the movie way back when we first started going to the Plaza. We have a beautiful daughter who lives close to us and we get to see and enjoy often.
We also have another family member, Sister Precious Petunia, a two year old Chihuahua. She is a spoiled baby who is the Queen of the House. She is our first "dog" in 40 years so I am sure you can imagine how spoiled she is.
There is so much to tell I just don't know where to start.
